Ms. Tan brings with her an impressive track record of more than 30 years as a highly respected equity research analyst. Ms. Tan started her finance career with Ke-Zan Securities Sdn. Bhd. as an Investment Analyst for one (1) year prior to joining Credit Suisse Securities (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd (Credit Suisse) as an Investment Analyst in 1994. Prior to her retirement in 2017, she was promoted to the position of Director to lead the regional plantation team with coverage in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia and as the Head of Research of Credit Suisse from 2010 to 2017, writing on Malaysia Strategy. She had led the Credit Suisse equity research team to top the Institutional Investor Polls in Malaysia for seven (7) consecutive years. Ms. Tan has extensive experience in equity research, with sector coverage encompassing consumer, retail, F&B, tobacco, packaging, plantation, property, REIT, utilities and conglomerates.
