Kuala Lumpur: CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad (“CIMB” or “the Bank”) in collaboration with PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad (“PDB”) have unveiled the new CIMB PETRONAS Visa Islamic Credit Cards (the “Cards”), the highest PETRONAS cash rebate credit cards in the market. In complementing the lifestyles of consumers looking to make more sustainable choices, the CIMB PETRONAS Visa Infinite-i and CIMB PETRONAS Visa Platinum-i Credit Cards are also the first in Malaysia to offer cash rebates on electric vehicle (“EV”) charging at PETRONAS stations and cashless parking nationwide.
In conjunction with the rollout, CIMB and PETRONAS also announced the ‘Drive4Rebat Hebat’ Contest with a chance for one lucky cardholder of the new Cards to drive home the grand prize of a brand new Hyundai Kona. On top of the grand prize, 15 monthly winners will walk away with a year’s worth of PETRONAS fuel gift cards valued at RM1,000 each, and 200 monthly consolation winners will be rewarded with RM50 Setel vouchers each. Open to new and existing cardholders from 1 June to 31 August 2023*, the campaign aims to reward customers with more value on their PETRONAS spend.
Perfectly tailored to meet the needs of modern day drivers, the Cards offer up to 12% in cash rebates on petrol, Setel and EV charging at PETRONAS. The CIMB PETRONAS Visa Infinite-i rewards up to RM120 in cash rebates per month, including up to 6% cash back on groceries, dining and cashless parking spend to help customers manage their day-to-day expenses.
Besides rebates, Cardholders can also enjoy CIMB’s 0% Easy Pay with interest-free instalment payments on car servicing at more than 50 Proton and Perodua service centres nationwide.
