Dubbed 'Happiest 5k on the Planet', run celebrates ASEAN's unique diversity
Kuala Lumpur: CIMB Group ("The Group" or "CIMB") returns as presenting sponsor of The Color Run™ in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta for 2017. First launched in 2011, The Color Run™ is a unique paint race that has been experienced by more than six million runners worldwide in over 40 countries. The un-timed five-kilometre fun run has runners showered in coloured powder and each city features a unique theme.
The three runs in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta are expected to attract at least 35,000 runners. Dubbed the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”, the run is not a race, but instead celebrates everyone in pursuit of health, joy, and happiness as winners, whilst bringing the community together.

The Kuala Lumpur edition of The Color Run™ is expected to attract 13,000 runners and will take place at Padang Merbok on 13 August 2017. Its “Tropicolor” theme will showcase a series of brilliantly coloured zones featuring tropical arches, palm trees, island-style music, and even a 'beach'.
Registration for The Color Run™ in Kuala Lumpur opens on 1 May 2017 via www.thecolorrun.my. The registration fee starts from RM90 per participant, with the addition of a new Family package and Child pricing. CIMB Bank debit and credit cardholders will be provided with a promo code via email and SMS, which they can use to enjoy 20% discount off the ticket price, subject to terms and conditions.
