Kuala Lumpur: CIMB Group today announced they have appointed Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad and Dato' Lee Kok Kwan as Directors of CIMB Group and CIMB Bank with effect from 20 July 2015.

Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad and Dato' Lee have played pivotal roles in governance and advisory and have deep experience in finance. With them as our newest members, they will further strengthen our Board given their credibility and stature. The management team and I look forward to working with them", said Tengku Dato’ Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Group Chief Executive, CIMB Group.
Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad brings with him vast experience in the area of finance and accounting which spans over 35 years, where he has held key positions in private and government-linked companies. Currently, Datuk Mohd Nasir sits on the Boards of Sumatec Resources Berhad, Bina Darulaman Berhad, Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC), Small Medium Enterprise Development Bank Malaysia Berhad (SME Bank), MIMOS Berhad and Prokhas Sdn Bhd. He is the Chairman of UKM Holdings Sdn Bhd and a member of the Board of University Kebangsaan Malaysia, the Energy Commission, Listing Committee of Bursa Malaysia and the Board of Trustee of Yayasan Canselor UNITEN.
With his new appointment, Dato' Lee Kok Kwan will relinquish all the executive positions he holds within the Group with effect from the same date.
