Two world-class employers. Two different industries. One programme. This is CIMB Fusion, the programme that was conceived to remove the guesswork when making that all-important career decision.

Rigorous classroom sessions  with hands-on experiences across the various business units within the company will be part of the course.

 

There is also the possibility of being selected to work at one of our regional offices.

Upon completion, you will be able to make an informed decision about which industry ignites your passion.

Basic Requirements

 

  • Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
    This is perfect for those who have difficulty making a final decision on a career path. This programme provides you the opportunity to experience two different industries.

  • Candidates with a track record of academic excellence
    You must have a minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) undergraduate degree.

  • Graduates from all academic disciplines are welcomed
    For example, Accounting, Economics, Law, Management, IT, Marketing, Mass Communications, Social Sciences and Humanities.

  • Robust ability to thrive within different environments
    In navigating the complexities of our business, we believe that diversity is a strength.

 

The CIMB Fusion programme with PriceWaterhouseCoopers is a four-year joint employment programme designed to give fresh graduates the opportunity to simultaneously achieve their professional accounting qualifications while also gaining work experience in the banking industry.

Year 1 & 2: You will be employed at PwC, working in audit while simultaneously pursuing either ACCA or ICAEW.

 

Year 3: This time will be spent at CIMB, giving you a holistic overview of the banking industry.

 

Year 4: You will return to PwC to complete your professional qualifications.

Eligibility

 

We welcome applications from outstanding graduates with a Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent in Accounting and Finance

This is a three-year joint employment programme between ZICOlaw and CIMB Group, and will suit the exceptional law graduate who seeks to be well-versed in another industry whilst still pursuing the rigours of lawyering.

It begins with two years of chambering at ZICOlaw. Year 3 will be spent with us, gaining a holistic overview of the banking sector.
