Relevant Experience

Puan Zuhaida was the former Senior General Manager of Strategy, Finance & Risk for Downstream Business, PETRONAS. Prior to that, she was the Senior General Manager of Governance & Strategic Relations for Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), the regulatory arm of PETRONAS. 


She joined PETRONAS in 2000 as a finance executive in PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad and has had roles across the Upstream and Downstream business including Corporate roles, notably in Finance and Accounting. She gained international working experience having served for 4 years in Brisbane at PETRONAS Australia Pty Ltd as its Head of Finance, following the investment in the Gladstone LNG project. Puan Zuhaida had previously held board memberships in subsidiaries of PETRONAS.

Upon graduating from Monash University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), Puan Zuhaida started her career with KPMG Malaysia in 1997 as an Audit Assistant and moved up as Audit Senior before joining PETRONAS. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ) and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
