EPF members can now apply for the personal financing with an attractive introductory interest rate at 4.5% fixed rate per annum*

 

Kuala Lumpur: CIMB Bank Berhad (“CIMB”) today introduced Cash Plus Personal Loan Account 2 Support Facility (“personal financing”) to eligible members of the Employees Provident Fund (“EPF”), offering an attractive introductory rate in the market at 4.5% fixed rate per annum*.

 

Application for the personal financing can be done through a dedicated user-friendly online platform. The fully digital onboarding process will allow customers to independently navigate the website, complete eligibility checks and submit their applications seamlessly.

The personal financing is open to all eligible Malaysians aged between 40 and 55 with a minimum gross income of RM2,000 and a minimum balance of RM3,000 in their EPF Account 2. Eligible applicants will have financing access of up to RM50,000, contingent upon their EPF Account 2 balance with a repayment tenure of up to 10 years. This provides the flexibility for members to manage their financial goals and alleviates the potential cash needs.
