Our Successes

For our first Bursa Malaysia Stock Exchange listed ETF, we were the first local Islamic fund trustee to provide Islamic fund trusteeship and fund administration via CIMB Islamic Trustee Berhad. The ETF was benchmarked against the US Islamic Market Index. It was managed by our Islamic fund manager, who had extensive experience in provisioning Shariah-compliant investment management services.

We are continuously making efforts to enhance our fund administration and valuation product, in order to meet the latest requirements for market investment funds. Because of this, a renowned asset management company in Malaysia appointed us as fund trustee for the country's first four leveraged and inverse ETFs. This new industry milestone was fulfilled by our conventional fund trustee via CIMB Commerce Trustee Berhad, and the funds are now listed in the Main market of Bursa Securities.

Our in-depth experience in the local custodian market scene has allowed us to develop custodian solution models for our client - a pioneer robo-advisory micro-investing platform. These solutions were tailored to our client's needs and market requirements, aligned with the compliance and regulatory rules for digital investments, and also helped to drive the growth of digitalisation in banking.
