The Negeri Sembilan Chinese Maternity Hospital and Medical Centre (NSCMH), a non-profit community hospital, has been serving the needy and ailing in Negeri Sembilan for over 75 years. Over time, its amenities have suffered wear and tear, giving rise to an urgent need to refurbish the medical centre.

As part of its Community Link initiative, CIMB Bank’s Seremban branch managed to raise RM90,000 to replace 42 old hospital beds at the facility.  With this improvement, warded patients now enjoy a more comfortable stay as they recuperate from illness or surgery. The branch’s contribution gave the NSCMH management one less expense to worry about and enabled it to focus on providing quality healthcare to its patients.

Besides supporting the hospital through fund-raising, the bank branch also participates in various community activities organised by NSCHM for its patients and residents in the vicinity, allowing it to forge closer ties with the community it serves.
