CIMB Securities (USA), Inc. was established in June 2007 to serve as the Group's equity sales arm in the United States. The firm focuses on Southeast Asian equity sales, complementing CIMB Group's already strong investment banking, stockbroking and institutional sales franchise in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok and Hong Kong.

The flagship presence in USA is a large step for CIMB Group in our expansion drive. Our value proposition is to contrast the service offerings of the global banks with our exclusive focus on Southeast Asia and deep knowledge of the region’s markets and business community. Our New York-based operations are staffed by a team of highly experienced sales-people and sales-traders, with combined international experience spanning more than a century.
