In just four short years, CIMB has taken professional golf to a new level in the region, with two world class events under its belt.

The CIMB Classic - now in its 4th edition, is the only PGA TOUR sanctioned event in Southeast Asia, held in Kuala Lumpur in October. As an Official Money Event on the PGA TOUR calendar and the third tournament of the season-long 2013-2014 FedExCup competition, it is the region's premier professional golf tournament. This year, the CIMB Classic will feature 78 players comprising 60 from FedExCup, 10 from the Asian Tour, and 8 sponsor's exemptions. The limited field will compete for a prize purse of USD7 million from 24 to 27 October 2013. Past champions include Ben Crane, Bo Van Pelt, and Nick Watney.

The CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters has cemented its place as the nation's most prestigious event and continues to grow since its inauguration in 2011. Sanctioned by the Asian Tour with a prize purse of USD$750,000, the event boasts a strong family of sponsors, all sharing a vision of making the event one of the biggest in the region in the near future. Taking place at the Royale Jakarta Golf Club from 2 to 5 May 2013, this year's field includes Major champions Ernie Els, Darren Clarke, Michael Campbell and John Daly.
