The assessment process comprises three stages as follows:

Stage 1
All applications will be screened to ensure that all eligibility criteria are met.

Stage 2
Shortlisted applicants will go through several online assessments.

Stage 3
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by a panel of interviewers.

Selection of suitable candidates for the CIMB Regional Scholarship is based primarily on the

  • Track record of outstanding achievements in academic or career if any, that are relevant to the proposed field of study
  • Proposed postgraduate programme, graduate school and whether the knowledge gained will significantly benefit the ASEAN region
  • Demonstrate the potential to contribute significantly to the region through the proposed field upon completion of study
  • Leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, energy levels and other personal attributes

The above list is not exhaustive and CIMB Group reserves the right to amend the criteria from time to time.
